Your Inner Future Lab – Activate the Mindstate That Shapes Tomorrow
The future isn’t something that just happens to us—it’s something we can create, starting from the inside out. In this transformative keynote, Dr. Frederik G. Pferdt—Google’s first Chief Innovation Evangelist and bestselling, award-winning author of What’s Next Is Now—reveals how unlocking imagination, curiosity, and radical optimism within ourselves can shape what’s next for our teams, organizations, and lives. Drawing from his experience building one of the most creative cultures at Google, teaching at Stanford, and working with future-makers in 25+ countries, Frederik shares mind-expanding stories, simple yet powerful practices, and a refreshing truth: the future doesn’t begin out there. It begins in you.

When Machines Have Time But People Do Not: Connective Labor and Physician Health
From Harm to Healing: Redesigning the Way We Work
In health care, we have long focused on evidence-based medicine — but ignored the evidence base for how we design the work of care. Today’s physicians are caught in systems that often harm the very people they depend on: clinicians. From invisible administrative harms to the rising tide of private equity, changing employment models, unionization, and now AI, the way we work is being reshaped — with or without intention. In this talk, I hope to explore how we move from harm to healing by embracing evidence-based work design, reclaiming voice, and shaping a future of work that supports those who care for others.
