Will the ACPH 2021 conference be an in-person or virtual event?

Mayo Clinic, Stanford University and the American Medical Association is proud to host the 2021 ACPH as a hybrid conference (virtual and in-person events). All three organizations will continue to carefully monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, working closely with leadership, venue staff and healthcare officials. We hope that conditions will improve with the continued actions of physicians, patients and the public health community, and we trust that your recognize our priorities are to support patients and physicians in this time and to work for the safety and well being of everyone involved. If the conference is moved to a full virtual event, postponed, or canceled, attendees will be notified via email communication. Where can I find the abstract presentations that were presented at the 2019 conference?

Abstracts

When will the call for abstracts open for ACPH 2021?

The call for abstracts will open November 20, 2020. All submissions must be submitted electronically via the online abstract management system by the February 14, 2021 deadline.

 

How will  I know if my abstract was submitted?

After you complete your submission, a confirmation email will be sent to you letting you know that your submission was successfully received. Keep a copy of this receipt for your records, along with a copy of the original documents.

 

Can I make any changes to any part of my abstract submission (e.g., edits to the abstract document, addition or deletion of supporting material)?

No. Once all information (abstracts, supporting materials, and other demographic information) is submitted, it cannot be changed, If there is an issue with your abstract content, contact ACPH staff at physicianhealth@ama-assn.org.

 

When will I be notified if my abstract was accepted?

Acceptance or decline of the abstract was communicated via email to the corresponding/submitting author in May 2021. If you did not receive a status update email and need to get a hold of ACPH staff, contact us at physicianhealth@ama-assn.org.

Note: Research oral and workshop submitters may be asked to reformat their submissions for a virtual event (if applicable).

Travel arrangements

Where will ACPH 2021 be held?

ACPH 2021 will be October 7-9, 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, AZ.

 

When can I register for the conference and book my hotel room?

Registration for the conference, as well as when you can book your hotel is now open – registration will close September 23, 2021. Information regarding registration costs for the 2021 conference can be found on the ACPH registration page.
