The American Conference on Physician Health™ (ACPH) is a joint scientific conference sponsored by the American Medical Association, Mayo Clinic and Stanford Medicine that promotes scientific research and discourse on health system infrastructure and actionable steps organizations can take to improve physician well-being.

The theme for this year’s conference, “Human by design: Driving innovation for a thriving healthcare system,” explores how human-centered approaches can foster an innovative, supportive health system—improving physician satisfaction and delivering better patient care. Through leadership, collaboration, cultural wellness, operational redesign and effective use of technology, we can empower physicians to succeed in all aspects of their professional lives and cultivate a health system where both care teams and patients thrive.

Abstracts and presentations will focus on actionable solutions and interventions that drive meaningful improvements in physician well-being. Attendees will hear from leaders shaping the future of physician health, engage in interactive workshops and panel discussions that delve into the latest research, and discover evidence-based strategies designed to improve physician well-being. Throughout the conference, participants will have the opportunity to network with peers, share experiences, and take the next step toward driving meaningful change. Whether you are a physician, health care leader, researcher, or advocate, ACPH offers valuable insights to help you make a lasting impact.

ACPH 2027 will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Conference fees do not include accommodation. All attendees (including abstract presenters) are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements.
